The John and Mary Campbell Endowed Scholarship was established by John and Mary Campbell, who attended Lake Superior State College in the early 1970s and benefited greatly from scholarships provided by the University. The education they received proved to be a valuable asset throughout their careers, and they established this endowment as a way to pay that generosity forward by supporting deserving students while giving back to both Lake Superior State University and the local community. Preference is given to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and are graduates of a Michigan Upper Peninsula high school, with first preference given to graduates of Michigan Eastern Upper Peninsula high schools.
