Lake Superior State University is committed to flying the American Flag for all to see. We are the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave and our flag is one way we show this. Our campus makes a point to do our civic duty and uphold American patriotism.
The flagpole is 110 feet tall, with our American Flag measuring 38 feet x 20 feet.
The near-constant winds from Lake Superior take a toll on our flag, requiring us to replace it every 2-3 months. Each replacement flag costs $920, and your contribution will help ensure our flag remains flying for all to see.
