This endowment was established by friends and family of Margaret Haag who was a former resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. and a LSSU instructor in chemistry and biology. The recipient must be a student tutor at the LSSU Learning Center who has earned a minimum 3.0 GPA and has successfully completed each course they wish to tutor with a minimum “B” grade. They must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a desire to help students succeed academically. Selection is based on the recommendation of LSSU Learning Center faculty and staff.
